i am reduced to listening to what is technically (and in some cases obviously) christmas music because all my best a cappella music(king's singers, gregorian chants) is christmas. i can't wait to get back to actually singing instead of just listening. though sometimes when i get really desperate i break out the ayres cd and sing along :P

ever heard of swingle singers? they aren't so much a cappella, but really good anyway (and mild on the accomp...). i'm trying and failing to think of any other a cappella peoples i know, which seems odd. i'm sure i'll come up with something.

also...my cousins were listening to christmas music in the car. gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i can't stand the cheesy little kid versions of christmas songs, unless they are tongue in cheek.

I'm going to make you some CDs of a cappella, non-christmas. I assume you mean classical, but do you want pop stuff, too? I have a lot of music. don't be reduced to ayrefare singalongs!
