Apr. 6th, 2007 12:46 pmas we proclaim the mystery of faith
"christ has died, christ is risen, christ will come again"
a little boy of two blows sweet baby kisses
to a curly-headed girl in her father's arms
they float across the darkened church
like the soaring lines of the chant
"ubi caritas et amor, deus ibi est"
this is the mystery of faith:
god is there in the sweet baby kisses
and the laughter of the curly-headed girl
in her father's arms
"christ has died, christ is risen, christ will come again"
a little boy of two blows sweet baby kisses
to a curly-headed girl in her father's arms
they float across the darkened church
like the soaring lines of the chant
"ubi caritas et amor, deus ibi est"
this is the mystery of faith:
god is there in the sweet baby kisses
and the laughter of the curly-headed girl
in her father's arms
