so this week was all set to start out really well - i had almost all my homework done before rehearsal last night, i was pretty confident about getting the rest of it done, i felt like i had time to go to prayz for the first time this semester. all was going swimmingly and then i had to go slip on the ice and whack my head into the sidewalk. no concussion or anything, but a pretty massive headache. if i hadn't awakened around 6 this morning and had the (rather blurry) presence of mind to take a large amount of painkiller i probably would have skipped class. as it was i pretty much blindly copied the notes from math class and really had no idea what he was saying. but i slept for a few hours this afternoon, and then we had a guest conductor in chambers today, somewhat unexpectedly, which was a nice surprise. rehearsal was exhausting but pretty exhilarating too. i look forward to the other guest conductors. now i have a sore throat but not too much homework, so it looks like early to bed for me. all things considered i think i like being in physical pain better than being depressed like last week. so really this week is looking good after all. plus, SPRING BREAK IN TWO WEEKS!
