merry christmas to all!

so santa lost his/her/their mind and brought us a wii for christmas! (if you've ever met my mom you probably realize she isn't the sort to buy video games for her children.) i actually tripped over it coming into the living room this morning, not having my contacts on. the siblings were just sort of staring in blank incomprehension. :P my brother has already practically commandeered the thing to play super mario galaxy (what, world wasn't big enough?) but the rest of us got some time in on the sports games earlier this morning. i am fairly abysmal at all the ones i tried, but it's quite entertaining. my dad's pretty good. :P all my other presents are wearable, edible or spendable, which suits me perfectly. i'm pretty sure it's time to go back to bed now. we're going to go see national treasure 2 later. hopefully it will be as mindlessly entertaining as the first one. hope everyone else is having a good christmas too!
