an "eh" sort of day

my great-grandmother (my dad's grandmother) died today. it really isn't fair to my grandmother. too much death. :(
and i got my first skinny college envelope, from washington university. they wait-listed me, but i don't think i'll bother to stay on the list. it's almost a relief. one fewer decision for me to make. it's sort of odd though, i thought this one was a sure bet. makes me a little more apprehensive about the ones i haven't heard from, the ones i really want into. blah.

Pffft to Washington U. Their loss!

I don't get it about you not hearing yet, cuz I thought they let you know at the first of March, but maybe I'm not remembering correctly. Hmmm.
