movie: "santa claus is coming to town", sung and narrated by fred astaire (and yes it's really old, so the puppets' mouths don't move with the words :P)

song: "what christmas means to me" by paul young

hymn: pretty much all of them, but especially "on this day earth shall ring" and "the snow lay on the ground"

food: cinnamon pull-apart bread

tradition: reading "'twas the night before christmas" on christmas eve (and sometimes reciting it from memory, if we forget to bring the book wherever we are); listening to "a gregorian christmas" to fall asleep christmas eve night

smell: pine needles, smoke from the fire and ink from the wrapping paper

Well, Merry Christmas! It's already that, where you are. We, um, celebrated Christmas Eve earlier by watching about the most un-Christmas movie you can imagine. And in a little while I'll got to midnight mass at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, which is a pretty awesome place to get the religion stuff.
