christmas mania

i am my mother's child. i discovered this today when she was frantically cleaning the ovens because she couldn't stand the thought of anyone else using them in their current dirty state (my sister's class is coming here for their christmas party tomorrow). i suggested we vacuum them. it worked a charm too. :P
back story: when i was about two my mom wrote pubdesk about how she was a compulsive vacuumer. it runs in the family...the cause of my aunt's frequent lateness has been known to be due to a random decision to vacuum some part of a house, not necessarily her own.
ah, it's been a weird day...

Someone needs to vacuum at MY house. None of us likes to do that. So it often doesn't get done until it, um, really, really needs it.
